take notice of it all.

the skyline scattered with buildings
short and tall.
Look up, it's there
you can taste it in the air.

you can take it all in,
the corner, the light
the stair case, the sign
the odd shaped window
Stop, texting on your phone,
continuing to moan,
lamenting and venting
how awful life is.
Put your arms up and your eyes
to the beauty overhead.
Look up, now you fool and enjoy it,
while you can
it won't happen, with your
eyes shut in your coffin
DEAD.
